All About Me
Hey! My name is Cassandra Gilchrist. I am fifteen years old and I am a freshman at Landstown High School. I am a member of the technology academy offered at Landstown High School and is setting forth goals to have a future in the technology field. I was born in Norfolk, Virginia. At a young age, I had to face a tragedy of my parent’s separation. It was hard but I got through it, and now I am more focused on myself and what I want to achieve in my years to come.
One day I hope to become a psychologist or an engineer in technology. They are both two careers that I strive to have a future in. In the meantime, I work hard and try my best in school so that one day that will be an opportunity that I can fulfill. Above all those things I want to make a difference in someone’s life whether it’s a loved or someone I barely even know. I want the knowledge that I have taken with me throughout school and my own personal experience and make someone’s life better. All in all, I am with the life I live and I am determined to make something out of it.
The theme for my portfolio is saying what’s real and speaking the truth because anyone can talk and anyone can listen, but somehow the truth always comes up missing. I wanted to express myself with the things I have come to know and understand throughout my fifteen years of existence.
